Silver Tungsten Electrode
Silver Tungsten Electrode (W-Ag), also known as tungsten-silver alloy, is a composite material of tungsten and silver. Silver and tungsten are not compatible. Binary alloys of silver and tungsten are usually manufactured by powder metallurgy. Tungsten-silver electrodes have high hardness, high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, arc corrosion resistance, small welding material transfer, and combustion-resistant tungsten are combined into tungsten-silver sintered materials.
Popular applications for our silver tungsten electrodes include wire harnesses in automotive electrical components, circuit switches for battery packs, and electrical components and circuit breakers for electrical switch production lines. Our silver tungsten electrodes are also used in the manufacturing process of Li-ion batteries and Ni-MH batteries, as well as welding battery barrels.
Tungsten electrodes have the following advantages:
* Better cutting mechanical properties
* Better creep resistance
*High temperature recrystallization
* Good ductility

Many silver tungsten electrode utilize silver tungsten alloys that contain between 25-50 percent silver, so they are idea for refining. We can also extract and refine silver tungsten sheet, wire, rod and plate byproduct material.
